Craig's List Should've Been Called "Idiot's List"

I've been posting all our things on CL trying to get rid of everything. I've come to realize the following:

1) People are incredibly stupid. I posted our mini frig as "Chef Mate, 4.4 cu. ft." and included a photo. I got an email, "Hi there- really interested in your fridge. What brand, color and cubic capcity. do you have pics." I wanted to respond, "You're probably too stupid to operate it. Stick to a cooler with ice. Do you need a photo?"

Another woman wanted to buy my Hooked on Phonics stuff. I sent her directions for getting here, which include all of three turns. She got lost. She called to tell me she's in Lake Berryessa (about 40 miles away from here). I wanted to respond, "Please get someone else to teach your child to read."

2) People want something for nothing. I posted our crib and changing table for $100, which included the mattress and changing pad. I got an email, "hi i was wondering if you would take 80 for both since i am a struggling mother who cant afford a brand new one for my 4 month old son. i have been looking and looking but ppl are asking a lot for cribs! right now my baby sleeps next to me and he is moving too much he needs his own bed." I wanted to respond, "You think you have problems! I can't afford a Dodge Viper and people want a lot for those! Right now, I have a Torino in my garage. P.S. please don't breed. If you can't afford a $100 crib and changing table, you can't afford a baby."

3) People think I have as much time on my hands as they do. I posted my floor mats on CL. I got an email from a woman asking me if they could be used outdoors, and she wanted me to do an "experiment" by leaving one outdoors in the sun to see if they curl. I wanted to respond, "Sorry, I'm too busy eating Bon-Bons and watching Soap Operas to do such an experiment. Buy them or leave me the f***alone!!!"

4) People can't make a decision to save their life. I got an email from a woman interested in the toy roller coaster I had. She wanted to know just how "new" looking it was because she could buy it new for double the price. I wanted to respond, "It's as new as it can be for a toy that's HALF PRICE, you f'n idiot!!!!"
