Well, the news certainly didn't make me want to run to the computer and write about the happenings here at the Lloyd home. Then, my PR network took off like a bat out of hell and I just didn't have time to update the site. But it's been quite some time, so I'd like to get back in the swing of things and update the site as often as possible.
Anyway, I'll do the best to update everyone on what has happened since Pappy died (as best as I can remember). The three of us flew out to PA for the funeral, which was held at the Fort Indiantown Gap cemetary. Nanny returned to CA with us to visit and check out the independent living places out here. She decided she wanted to stay, so we found her a place and moved all her belongings out here. Meanwhile, Sandra took care of selling the rest of her belongings and getting everything squared away with the sale of Nanny's home.
Three months later, Nanny decided she wanted to move back to PA, so we shipped all her stuff back to PA. She's settled now and has sold her home/land (she got very lucky there), and things here are back to normal.
Erik's since had a few bonuses and a pay raise at work, so that was great news. I've been swamped in my PR network as it's taken off much faster than I ever expected. I can barely keep up with its success! Jake's back to preschool and playgroups, and the usual silliness and temper tantrums.
