Things Erik Learned from Redecorating Jake's Bedroom

1. Everything you do will be wrong. Luckily your wife will be there to point this out.

2. You will be yelled at throughout the project. (See #1)

3. Never ever plan to do a project during PMS time.

4. Those couples on "Trading Spaces" must be heavily medicated so as to keep from killing each other on camera.

5. Get a babysitter for the child.

6. Plan to go to Home Depot at least every two hours.

7. Never use Rustoleum paint indoors.

8. Red is a simple color, why can't paint stores make it right?

9. Wallpaper sucks.

10. Winnie the Pooh is an appropriate theme for a kid's bedroom until about age 18, or whenever they can paint it themselves.
